Today’s the Mother’s birthday. Managed to get off work on time and almost got into trouble for that. Anyways that doesn’t matter cause Mum is super happy =) Had an awesome dinner at an Italian restaurant along Purvis Street. 2nd bro (Hui Jie) couldn’t join us because he was in China. He got his girlfriend to send a dozen of red roses with a card though. Big bro and I shared a smaller bouquet of tulips which totally lose out to the dozen of red roses in terms of size, but Mum seemed to like them both. Big bro got some cosmetics and I got a set of photos frames. She totally loved my present! Her eyes gave no doubt that she was absolutely delighted. Mum says it’s her happiest birthday ever. Told you I was gonna make it special =D I’ll be going over to Melbourne next year, so this would be her last birthday that I’ll be able so spend with her for the next few years to come. Absolutely happy that she enjoyed her birthday so much.
